Getting rescued once is enough.
Epona’s Path is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that is dedicated to saving horses of all ages and breeds from slaughter, abuse, abandonment and neglect. The horses at Epona's Path have found their loving forever home at our 85-acre sanctuary in Central Florida.
We’re a volunteer-led organization.
Founded in 2009, Epona’s Path began informally when its founders adopted two horses from a local horse rescue. Two horses soon became three, and not longer after that, they were called to help with an abandoned herd of mustangs found on private land in Florida. From that herd they rescued two mustangs, one of whom was unknowingly pregnant and birthed a foal at Epona’s Path seven months later. Since then, Epona’s Path has become the forever home for many more horses of all breeds and backgrounds.
